3D printing

What is 3D printing?

3D printing is a type of additive manufacturing, which means that the production of products occurs by adding material in stages. There are many 3D printing technologies, but the most common today is called FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling). This technology works with plastic strings wound on a spool (filaments), which are fused in the print head and applied to the substrate in layers. The material gradually cools and the resulting product hardens. Various materials are used for printing with this method, most commonly PLA, ABS, PET or PVA, for example. Each of these materials has different properties and is produced in different colours.
